David Riley Coaches Conference

The David Riley Coaches Conference is an annual quizbowl conference primarily held to support the efforts of coaches nationwide in developing and promoting high quality high school quizbowl. The conference consists of panel discussions on topics of interest to quizbowl players and coaches. It is traditionally held the Friday evening before the National Scholastic Tournament in the tournament hotel.

All members of the quizbowl community, regardless of their qualification or attendance at NSC, are welcome to attend. There is no registration cost to attend the conference.

The 2017 coaches conference will be held at the 2017 NSC. Details to come.

In 2015, the coaches conference was named after David Riley, a longtime member of PACE who also received the 2012 Benjamin Cooper Academic Ambassador Award for his outreach work in Illinois.
