The Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence is excited to be welcoming two new members this January!
Olin Bose has been involved in Quiz Bowl since 2018. He played for Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey, and currently goes to Columbia University, where he is also the club president. He is active in staffing and directing tournaments, as well as outreach around the Northeast region.
Brian Lu started in Quiz Bowl with the inception of his high school team, and has stuck with it in various capacities ever since then. This has primarily been as a staffer in recent years, with him moderating at dozens of tournaments in the Northeast. Though that may comprise many Saturday mornings and afternoons, Brian will often fill a weekend with seeing live music, time spent on a mountain, or a nice evening in with his cats.
