Hotel room blocks at the Hampton Inn (Lee Highway, Fairfax VA) for May 30-June 1 (F/S/S) for individuals who want to stay over and help staff this event. If you are volunteering, you must fill out the volunteer form or contact Evan Silberman. The blocks consist of 10 rooms with 2 double beds. The cost is $79 + 11% tax each night. Right now, I have it set up that individuals can call the hotel directly and ask for the "PACE" block of rooms for both weekends. They would need to place down their credit cards. PACE will pay for staff rooms in May/June, assuming you have signed in as a volunteer by May 15. Obviously PACE will not cover incidental charges. Wireless internet should be free, and there is a nice complimentary breakfast. The phone number is (703) 385-2600. If we have to increase the block, let me know. We have until 3 weeks before each event to fill the block. Also, if you want me to "expand" the block availability so we can advertise to teams, please let me know so I can notify the Hampton Inn managers.
