outreach
The Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence is accepting submissions for the PACE Outreach Fund, a program funding outreach for high quality quizbowl around the country. The program is designed to support state organization and tournament hosts in their efforts to recruit new teams. Funding will take the form of grants, which may range up to $200 depending on the size and feasibility of the planned outreach program.

In order to apply for a grant, send an email to PACE Treasurer David Reinstein at treasurer@pace-nsc.org and PACE Vice President of Outreach Nicholas Karas at outreach@pace-nsc.org with the subject line “PACE Outreach Fund – [organization or school name]”.

Applications must include details about the proposed outreach, including: method of outreach, approximate length of program, number of schools expected to be reached, and approximate cost of the program. Applications will be considered in the order that they are received, and applicants will be notified of the status of their application within two weeks.

Organizations must also either provide receipts up front or send receipts to PACE no later than 30 days after the completion of their outreach. Organizations that do not comply with this requirement will not be permitted to apply for further outreach funds.

If you have any questions, contact Marianna Zhang at communications@pace-nsc.org.
